Frattini to Jyrki Katainen: we need a single European Defense Market
Jyrki Katainen, Prime Minister of Finland visited Rome to attend a conference organized by "Istituto Affari Internazionali" on "How to Build a Fair and Thriving Europe".
Franco Frattini, President of
Sioi and Former Foreign Minister, at the present Italy's official candidate to the Secretary General of
NATO for 2014, questioned Prime Minister Katainen what does he think about "launching, on next EU Council in December, a single European Defense Market".
PM Katainen answered to him that "we firstly need a more strategic approach to security and defense. Then, it's true: we don't have a single Defense Market in Eu, while US do. This is one point on which we need more Europe".
